Day 1 & 2 – Kathmandu – Nepal

Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport. Transfer to hotel and check-in. The following day, visit the Stupa at Boudanath, the Monkey Temple and stroll through the markets.

Day 3 & 4 – Thimpu

International flight from Kathmandu to Thimpu (1hour). One of the most spectacular flights over the Himalayas. Introduction to Bhutan’s rich culture would be a visit to the National Library and to the school of arts and crafts. A small hike through dense forests to Tango Goempa or monastery. Beautiful views along the hike.

Day 4- Wangdue

Drive from Thimpu to Wangdue, enroute crossing high pass Dochu la (3140 metres) and visit to Chimi monastery.

Day 5 – Wangdue – Trongsa

Drive from Wangdue to Trongsa, enroute visit through the Black Mountain National Park and witness the grandeur of Chendebji Charten. Trongsa is an old town with an imposing fortress or dzong.


Day 6 to 9 – Bhumthong Valley Stay

Visit the Trongsa dzong and drive to this beautiful valley in small Jakar town. Bhumthang is the spiritual heartland of Bhutan known for the visits of Guru Rinpoche who brought Budhism to Nepal and bhutan in the 8th century. Keeping our base in Bhumthang Valley, we explore the region while hiking along the Chamkhar River, visiting farms and monasteries, moreover being part of Bhutanese Village Life.


Day 10 – Wandue

Retracing our route over Pere la, we drop automatically to the village of Wandue, once again to enjoy the stay at scenic Riverside Resort. A visit to the market in Wangdue.

Day 11 – Paro

Drives take back over the Dochu la before dropping down to Thimpu and on to Paro Valley itself. Enroute visit the Punakha Dzang.


Day 12 – Paro

The impressive journey concludes with a m Finale. Taktsang Monastery known as the Tiger’s Nest”, this complex of 17 th century temple clings to a cliff 2,800 feet above the valley floor. An unforgettable hike is to the “Tiger’s Nest”. Evening at leisure.


Day 13 – Kathmandu

International flight from Paro to Kathmandu (1 hour). Farewell dinner before transfer to Kathmandu international airport for departure.
